About me

A lifelong horsewoman, Pamela Burton has chronicled equestrian events on every major continent for hard copy and online for over 25 years. Her photos have been featured in articles, books and magazines.

After three years of living and working in the Middle East covering dressage, endurance, flat racing, polo and show jumping in Dubai and Abu Dhabi, she is now traveling to International event coverage from her base in the US.

 After 2010, as the editor and publisher of http://www.horsereporter.com, Pamela has been able to bring the exciting world of International Arabian horse racing across borders to horse lovers around the world. Now the Horsereporter Outreach includes the Horsereporter Newsletter, Eblasts, and Social Media connections.

 In 2013 Pamela won the first Photographer of the Year award by the HH Sheikh Mansoor bin Zayed Al Nahyan Arabian Horse Racing Festival. She continues to be an integral part of the Festival and World Arabian Racing Conference, where she has served as both speaker and moderator.

Pamela’s background in promotion and marketing, stallion photos, pedigree and stud books have been integral to help many of the Arabian racing world and website sponsors to stay in the forefront of the racing game.

    Pamela, you look GREAT and it’s so good to know you’ve returned to the US and to get a bit of news from you. Is this your “old” favorite boy? Can’t remember his name but remember our conversations in Dubai about our “bay boys”.
