April 6, Duindight, Netherlands~ It was a second win on the trot for 7-year-old mare Blitters Plonja in the H.H Sheikh Mansoor Bin Zayed Al Nahyan Global Arabian Flat Racing Festival’s Wathba Stud Farm Cup II at the Duindigt race course in The Netherlands.

The grey mare who won this year’s opening race of the Wathba Stud Farm Cup last month over a distance of 1800 metres, made no mistake on Sunday winning over a distance of 2000 metres under jockey Anthony Deau.

Trained by Diana Dorenberg for owner Mrs F.F. Dyk-Krantz, Blitters Plonja finished ahead of Baloo DA under Bart de Koninck with Alligator Kossack under Jadey Pietrasiewicz in third place.

Alligator Kossack, trained and owned by Huub Otermans, will be running in the third race of the Wathba Stud Farm Cup series to be held on May 13.
