May 29, Wroclav, Poland~The beautiful Partynice race course in Wroclaw is all set to host the second Al Wathba Stud Farm Cup race in Poland this year with eight horses in the fray. For the first time the oldest racecourse in Poland will take part in the HH Sheikh Mansoor bin Zayed Al Nahyan Global ArabianFlat Racing Festival.
Sunday’s (May 29th) race is open to 3-year-old Arabian horses and will be run over 2000 metres.
Among the eight runners trainer Jan Pochwatka is strongly represented with three horses. Eklis has a good achance after winning his first race rather easily while Winder is capable of a good run for the trainer. Nizara may find it hard to match the colts but completes Puchwatka’s trio.
Trainer Robert Swiatek’s Zloty Ksiaze could be the one to beat after his strong winning run in his second career race. Swiatek also runs Peraton a horse that will be looking to improve on his fourth-place debut run.
Two other fillies in the race – Wenida and Euzera – come into this race with a win each but could find the opposition strong while Fedrus from Michal Borkowski’s yard will also face a tough task.
Abdulla Al Qubaisi, Director of Communications of Abu Dhabi Authority for Culture and Heritage (ADACH) said, “Poland has a rich history of Arabian horses and it is good that this race has attracted a good number of runners. This is our second Wathba Stud Farm Cup race here in Poland this season and we are delighted with the response”.
