IFHAR publishes First International Purebred Arabian rankings

 The International Federation of Arabian Horse Racing Authorities has announced the formation of the 

Pattern Race and Handicapper Committee and the compilation and publication of the first International Purebred Arabian ranking list, highlighting the best Arabian racehorses in Europe and Middle East.

2011 Winners:

2011 International Purebred Arabian rankings for 4yo and up (Pattern Races Group PA and Listed PA): No Risk Al Maury (FR)Kesberoy (FR) – Nectarine Al Maury (FR) by Baroud Iii (FR).

2011 International Purebred Arabian rankings for 3yo IFAHR Pattern Races (Group PA and Listed PA):  Al Mamun Monlau (FR) Munjiz x Salalah de Monlau (Tidjani).

In November 2011, the Supervisory Committee finalized the first International Purebred Arabian rankings as well as an international weight for age scale which will be applied to all IFAHR Pattern Races in every country. The Rankings comprise all horses which have run from December 2010 to November 2011 in IFAHR Pattern races, and which have been rated at 110 or above for 4yo and up runners and 105 in the case of 3yos.

Our next goal is now the integration of USA Graded races into our current Pattern Race system” said Jean-Pierre de Gasté, Chairman of the Pattern Race & Handicapper Committee.
