Newmarket, United Kingdom, July 8 ~No Risk Al Maury, owned by HH Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum of Dubai claimed the Abu Dhabi Harwood International Arabian Racing Stakes (Group 2 PA) placing Jaafar second. Trained by Gillian Duffield, No Risk Al Maury was ridden to the win by Richard Hills on the 1600 m grass for 4 years+ in a time of 1:49:38. Prize money was 34,865.88€.

Turkey a new leg next year
In a speech after the event, HE Dr. Sheikh Sultan revealed that Turkey would be a new leg added to the UAE President Series for Purebred Arabians next year to mark a further growth in the image and impact of the Series which is receiving increasing global attention and popularity. He stressed that Turkey was giving much attention and glory to Arabian racing and it would be quite fitting for the Series to involve Turkey and further consolidate its successes. He also stated that more countries could be taken on board whenever it is deemed suitable and right to do so.
