13 March 2018, California ~ In a plucky move that should encourage Arabian racing in California, the Arabian Racing Association of California (ARAC) has announced two new Arabian race series.

The Emirates Breeders California Gold Rush Handicap Series will be for 3-year -olds and up. The Series will have three Stake Races run in California from 2 July through 16 October 2018.

In addition to the announced prize money of $10,000-$15,000 per race, the High-Point Series Winner will receive a Bonus at the end of the final race. Points will be distributed as follows: Winner 4 points, second 3 points, third 2 points, remaining horses to finish receive 1 point.

The California Gold Arabian Maiden Stake Series for 3-year-olds and upwards will be run on the same racing dates with a Final Championship to be run in Fresno in October.

Nominations for both race series due by 1 June, 2018.
