March 28, 2013, Dubai ~ The Dubai International Arabian Horse Championship (DIAHC) celebrated it 10th Anniversary from 21-23 March.
Horses from 24 countries competed for prizes totaling $4 million USD (Dh14.7 million). Classes began with Racing and Endurance Championships, and Senior Championship’s were decided on Saturday. Riding classes were held on Friday. Among the former world champions looking to cement titles were: Ghanadir Al Zobir, FT Shaella, Emandoria, Layan Al Khalediah, Banderos, MA Shadon El Sher and Escape Ibn Navarrone-D.
After taking the top prize at the Qatar International Equestrian Festival, Baanderos was awarded Gold Senior Male Champion.
