July 25, 2013, Tarbes, France ~ Over 100 riders ages 14-21 from 28 countries are assembling to battle for Championship in the Saturday July 27, CEIYJ**** 120km ride in this corner of Southwestern France.
The program includes the July 25 Opening Ceremony at the Tarbes Stud Farm, while Pre-Ride Veterinary inspection is slated for Friday July 26, with the riders to head out onto the trail at 7:00 am Saturday July 27. The triumphant first rider in might be expected in by 3:00 pm and Best Condition will be awarded later on Saturday. The Prize Giving Ceremony and Closing will be Sunday morning.
The ride will be done in four loops of 36.6km, 30.5km, 32.1km and 21.1km, with the middle two loops being labeled as “technical”. The riders will be tracked with GPS and can be viewed: http://www.endurance-timing.net/.
