Nottingham Arabian racing a run-away for Smart trained horses

 August 27, 2102, Nottingham, UK ~ In continued exciting Arabian racing in the United Kingdom, Nottingham rolled out the red carpet for seven races on August 25. The day was a run-away for trainer, Julian Smart and Qatar owner, HH Sheikh Mohammed Bin Khalifa Al Thani.

The Alquram Beach Maiden Stakes, 3ys and up saw Al Anga (Amer x Kerbelle Du Loup), ridden first to the wire by M Smith, trained by Julian Smart, and owned by HH Sheikh Mohammed Bin Khalifa Al Thani, take the 6 Furlong win in a time of 1:21:00. Always popular, this maiden had 12 entries.

The Purebred Arabian Conditions race for 3 & 4 yrs old saw Theeba (Amer x Massamarie), in the winners circle for the 8F race in a time of 01:59:00, giving another win to trainer, Smart. Theeba, in a field of 5, was ridden by SA Walker,  and owned by HH Sheikh Mohammed Bin Khalifa Al Thani.

The fourth race for Purebred Arabians, 3 yrs and up, rated 0-100 brought together 7 runners with the winner, El Adjban (Makzan x Shunah), ridden by R King take the first in the 8F race with a time of 02:02:00. El Adjban is trained by Gillian Duffield and owned by Leslie Hartley.

The Aldeqem Beach Arabian Stakes over 10F was brought home by  SA Walker riding Jaafer (Amer x Madjela), another Smart win for owner, HH Sheikh Khalifa Bin Mohammed BK Al Thani. The winning time for this 7 horse race was 02:34:00 on a soft track.
