Preview by Gary Capewell:
“Spirited Game ran a solid race at Lingfield and looks to be improving, she beat Delishess on that day but that form could be reversed here on quicker ground if the latter stays. Nekhen Taoui looks sure to improve this season, she shaped well on her final start. Tawaazun has no penalty to carry and she hasn’t had too much racing. She was an unlucky second to a top level horse at Newmarket when last seen and her proven stamina could be a real asset. However stable companion SALAAMA wasn’t disgraced when losing her unbeaten record in Group One company at Lingfield on her seasonal debut and that run will help. This step up in trip should suit and now that she’s reunited with Ted Durcan – who was on board when she was an impressive winner here last year – she gets the narrow vote.”
The DIAR Committee have developed 4 warm-up races leading up to the full day of Arabian racing on Dubai International Day on 26 July 2015. DIAR races will provide owners and trainers with extra opportunities to prepare their horses for the lucrative Group races the day holds.
