Sheikh Hazza bin Sultan brings in first at Abu Dhabi President’s Cup Endurance

In a long day of riding, Sheikha Hazza Bin Sultan Al Nahayan has good reason to be happy. He has won the country’s top prize for 160K endurance, the HH President of the UAE Endurance Cup.  After moving up on the six loops (46, 12, 9, 8 and number one on loop five), he crossed the wire first on Glenmorgan on the final sixth loop, clocking an average speed of 25.16kph. Second in was UAE rider, Sultan Ahmed Al Baloushi riding Cronus, third was Fatma Jassem Al Marrie on Ohio.

The first invited rider to finish was Melody Theolissat from France in 29th place, riding Padichan Du Paon at an average speed of 18.79kph. Great news for the USA as both riders finished; Lindsay Graham, riding Monk, owned by Chris Martin, finished in 32nd place, with an average speed of 17.99kph, and Doug Swingley on his own horse, National Security finished 37th, riding at an average speed of 16.99kph.  As of 8:35 pm UAE time, 46 riders had completed the course, 12 of them invited foreign riders. Czech Republic finished Helena Terberova on Joulik de Villeneuv, Olga Clesielka  on Gardu Pintu and Beata Dzlkowska on Ersted from Poland are in, Spains’ rider, Bemat Casals Flores on Vagueira, from Great Britain, Catriona Moon on Leila, Olaug Espeli Castensen from Norway finished on Jubilee and Celine Just from Belgium on Djellade De Bozouls. Just finished as well are Michel Lequarre from Belgium on LI Korum and  Charlotte Mlyncekova riding Faradge for Slovakia.
